Haegon Kim
U.S. Citizen, but made in Korea. Haegon earned my master's degree in engineering and started his career as a project engineer in Seoul back in 2008. In 2011, his wife and he relocated to the U.S. with our two young daughters, and he pursued another master's degree in engineering at the University of Texas at Austin (Hook 'em!).
In 2013, he started a real estate investment portfolio and a consulting business using his two credit cards in Houston, Texas, while working a full-time job as an engineer. Despite the daunting obstacles of tough immigration, a sudden layoff, and an unjust lawsuit, he refused to be defeated. Instead, he saw these setbacks as opportunities for growth and learning, strengthened by his unwavering faith in Jesus.
He's not intimidated by what he doesn't know. If anything, it makes him all the more curious. He learn and find out why. He's passionate about creating ways where there seems to be no way. He's passionate about helping others do the same.
Practicing taxes is another pathway to promise. It’s another bushwhacking exposition that will create new stories.

Franklin Lim
Franklin is a Certified Public Accountant with over 35 years of experience in the accounting industry. He graduated Class Valedictorian with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics from the College of Wooster, Ohio and obtained a Master of Accountancy at Case Western Reserve University, Ohio.
He began his career in public accounting with Deloitte and Touche in Phoenix, serving both the audit and tax functions during his tenure. Over the course of his career, he had worked for both Fortune 500 companies to include American Express and Eli Lilly, and other small to medium enterprises in various capacities. He recently served as the Chief Financial Officer of a publicly listed company.
His vast industry experience include banking, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, transportation and specialized electric vehicles. He has passed the Certified Management Accountant and Certified in Financial Management professional examinations.
Favorite things about Charlotte: I love the Charlotte skyline at night and lively night scene. The people are friendly and helpful.
